IB-1-Solutions and Membranes
Page history last edited by Jay 6 mos ago
Objective(s):
- Students observe and explain the affect of solution concentrations on cell membranes.
Today's lesson:
- Students made shapes with black paper and we paper clipped them on to a geranium plant to do an exeriment with photosynthesis [we will follow up with this in a week.]
- Students use spectrophotometer to take measurements with the purpose of determining relative concentrations of different sugar concentrations.

- Record the data (measurements) you made so you can replicate or refer to this later.
- Place the solution into a thistle tube; cover mouth with membrane & elastic; mark height of fluid; place in beaker of filtered water - above bottom of beaker
Today's assignment (due next Tuesday!)
Record your data for investigation later.
